I must admit it has been a while since I have posted.
This past Christmas has had to have been my busiest one yet.
I would like to share with you my Christmas projects this year:
- Legend of the Candy Cane Christmas Ornaments for KY
-Signed 230 Christmas Cards for the packages that WNC Blue Star Mothers were putting together
- Signed Christmas cards for 2 of the Mercy Homes [between the soldiers & Mercy Homes 400 cards were signed]
-Bookmarks to go into the cards
- Helped w/shoe boxes for KY so they could have a Christmas
-donated soup beans to the relief center for the County
-scheduled to go on a Missionary trip with some of my sister Churches but due to the snow only 2 could go
and the shoe boxes arrived their safely while I had 13 1/2 inches on the ground.
-adopted a child for Christmas
-wrote a few letters to soldiers
A good portion of it was done in November. So what was the secret to finishing all of the fun projects.
One night after I got home I felt the Holy-Spirit just whisper 'Nehemiah"
In the book of Nehemiah it seemed almost impossible to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. When they focused on what was in front of them and nothing else before they knew it the walls of Jerusalem was rebuilt.
For 2010 I know I want more opportunities to serve God , more outpours of the Holy Spirit
