Lessons from a plant

Well I must admit I had intended to take a break
from blogging at least for the Summer.

The intention was to work in the Garden, can and freeze for the winter.

Well God had other plans

Allow me to set the stage

This year God had blesses us so much
and continues to bless us with rain
I remember working in the city thinking

I can't wait to get off from work to work in the garden.

The favorite thing about the garden is praying

out loud thanking God for so many things....

Well the day came when it had gone a couple of days without rain

was really excited about this well the first thing

we planted was tomato plants

It was about a month later when we discovered some
volunteer tomato plants already producing

Even though they hadn't received any water
except the rain that God blessed us with and they had tomatoes on them.

The ones we planted and I prayed over
well those tomato plants don't have tomatoes on them yet
but I know they will for God is my I declare it.

Then we have those volunteer tomato plants
that we didn't know about
who if the plant could speak I feel sure it would say
--I will grow

--Though I'm ignored I will bless you
--Though no one paid attention to me I have tomatoes for you

--Though you prayed over the other plants

>ignoring me I'm determined to bless you

As in my Christian walk I learned::

-- I'm the head not the tail

--God is raising me up

--Though I get knocked down I will praise God

For Praise preceds the Victory

I'm a Vicor not a Victim

I will bless others

As for being a Christian this volunteer tomato plant has taught me a lot


--Regardless of how mankind treat's God

God says I love you

--Jesus said though they have not
>asked me to come and live in their heart

I will give them every drop of blood I

have and in the meantime I will wait
on him, on her to ask me into his or her heart
--If you haven't asked Jesus into your heart it's not to late.

Just pray this prayer

Father, I am a sinner

I realize now that Jesus died on the cross for my sins.

Jesus chose to die for me because Jesus loves me.

From the resurrection on the third day

Jesus conquered death and was able to defeat Satan

For it is written in your word Father that if I profess

the name of Jesus and ask Jesus to come into my heart.

That Jesus will hear me and come into my heart.

Father, I am not perfect for I am a sinner

I realize that my heart is not big

but Jesus please come into my heart.

Jesus please forgive me of my sins.

Thank you Jesus for hearing my prayer.

Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart
The next step is to go to a Bible based Church.

Begin to Read the Bible.
The Book of John is a good place to start.

Bottom Line the Creator of the Universe really does love YOU

for who you are, were YOU are
and He longs just to hear YOUR VOICE.

God says YOU matter so YOU MATTER

Person Of The Week

Years ago He was attending a Catholic school where He was studying to become a Priest.
Along the way someone told Tim about Jesus and He accepted Him as his personal Lord and Saviour.

Well as a Child of the Utmost High I know that the Angels rejoiced in Heaven

If only my brother Tim had the same kind of celebration here on Earth.

It was much different when Tim told His family it was as if He had dropped a bomb shell.

His family disowned him, there were no more telephone calls.

No more Birthdays

No more Thanksgiving Dinner together

No more Christmas.

Tim will tell you that His Church family is His family.

Tim continued to serve God knowing that was the only right thing to do.

As time went by both Tim and my sister in Christ Brenda felt a calling to Russia.

All of the doors opened except for one.

Even though their hearts broke on the inside they knew the only thing to do was to Serve God.

A little over 3 years later all of the doors opened for them to go as Missionaries to Russia.

The service would start about 7 pm and when the service ended they followed Tim and Brenda home.

Most of the time Tim and Brenda would not get to go to Bed until about 6 am or 7 am in the morning.

Did I mention the service started at 7 pm the night before???

When Tim and Brenda were lucky they would get to go to sleep about 3 am.

Tim and Brenda didn't go on other missionary trips they just continued to serve God.

After all they knew it was the only thing to do

You see with Tim and Brenda it wasn't so much this or that.

It was who they represent.

The Creator of the Universe is the one they represent.

I've been blessed to have them as friends for a number of years.

I salute and applaud both of you for keeping your eyes on God.

Of course I will have to stand in agreement with you with God there is everything.

Without God there is nothing.

Vacation

I'm going to be taking a short vacation for a while.
In the meantime my prayer is that you will grow closer to God

Regardless of where you are God loves you UNCONDITIONALLY
God gave His only son just for YOU
Always remember your value comes from God

God's Love

I don't know about you but years ago I was blessed to have a very wise person disciple me.
Okay at the time I sometimes thought He was strict.
None the less I have fallen back on it so many times.

I feel the time has come to share it with others.

'IT WOULDN'T BE GOD'S LOVE'

Allow me to set the stage have you ever met someone that you've always looked up to.

Well my first lesson was when others found out that I had met him.

After all He is in the ministry.

I remember it as if it was yesterday there were some people that had a bright idea or so they thought.

I was shocked to find out that they had not been honest just to get money.

So I thought (well looking back my first step should have been prayer) but it wasn't.

So I thought that's money that can buy Bibles, feed the starving??

I will be the first to admit my first mistake was I thought.

Amen and Amen!

Since He was in the ministry I didn't want it to be taken advantage of.

To my surprise He gave them money and more.

Then He turned to me and said "It wouldn't be God's Love"

I said "But?"

He said there are no buts with God's Love

The test begins one I must admit I didn't think I would pass.

Bottom line is that's not for you to say

Since I went through that lesson and eventually passed.

I seem to find myself falling back on it.

Regardless of how a person acts "It wouldn't be God's Love."

Good or bad doesn't matter.

After all It wouldn't be God's love.

For you see the creator Knew it all before the Earth was formed.

every word, every thought, every action, and still He breathed life and created everyone.

Then God takes it a step further.

For you see He loves you and He loves me more than we can even begin to imagine.

Then He takes it a step further I want them to Choose Me.

In the meantime He waits.

What a blessing

So thankful I went to a barbeque with family and friends.

Allow me to set the stage:
I was listening to to live Gospel Music when I saw a dear friend.

She has a special gift after all she works with those that have special needs.

As she was pushing one in a wheelchair.

I immediately got up and went running so excited to see them.

Needless to say I got the best hugs.

A wise person once said a True friend is the next time you see each other you pick right back up where you left off.

Well the very nice Young man in the wheelchair has got it.

I say that because so many might feel sorry for him.

After all he is in a wheelchair.

Now his attitude is I'm born again.

How right He is after all God says this is my child.

One person (okay maybe several) might see his limitations.

The sad part of it is that's there mindset.

Praise God its not his.

For you see his mindset is "I can do all things through Christ...."

Amen and Amen

If you mentioned the word chains He would just say that's not from God.

He's got it.

When my friend asked where were the cooking the food.

Without thinking I pointed to an area where there were steps.

You guessed it.

He's ready to go up the steps.

Needless to say my other friend pushing the wheelchair wasn't as ready to go up the steps.

Then again I kind of like his mindset "No limitations."

Well needless to say they were cooking and serving in multiple locations.

"Whew"

The best part of seeing them is I got a kiss on the cheek.

For you see it wasn't just any kiss

The kiss came from a very special friend who said I have to kiss all the pretty ladies on the cheek.

Society may place labels on him.

God simply says this is my son.

My friends attitude is "If its in the Bible it can happen today"

After all Jesus loves me this I know.

Oh and I got kissed on the cheek.

After all He said I have to kiss all the pretty ladies on the cheek.

Now He's Got it.

After all God has no limitations unless the person decides to limit God.

After all it wouldn't be God's love.

In my book He's tops.

After all almost 19 years ago someone shared with me.


THE U IN JESUS

Before U were thought of or time had begun,

God stuck U in the name of His Son.

And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,

You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.

You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,

For U, He was born; that's why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.

It even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew

, and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,

He felt there was one thing He just had to mention. 'Go into the world and tell them it's true That I love them all

- Just like I love U.' So many great people are spelled with a U

Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?


It all depends now on what U will do,

He'd like them to know, But it all starts with U.
Will YOU tell just one other person
When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of you!

You Were Loved

I was listening to a song "You Were Loved."

How right those lyrics are.



Before God created anything I was predestined to Heaven.

Yet God chose to take it a step further.



Even though I want you in Heaven I will let you choose.

Ah my child if you only knew how close I want to be to you.

Still I will let you choose between me and the world?



If you only knew how my Son Jesus just waits for you to ask him into your heart?

After all that is why Jesus left Heaven and came to Earth.

You do realize that it was all for you.

Everything that Jesus went through was just for you.

One drop of blood would have been sufficient, but Jesus wanted to give all

for You were loved by God.



You see before you drew your first breath

You were loved by Jesus



Before you said your first word

You were loved by God



Before you laughed for the first time

You were loved by Jesus



Before you cried for the first time

You were loved by God



Before you crawled for the first time

You were loved by Jesus



Before you took your first step

You were loved by God



Still as much God and Jesus loves you.

Its as if God says I want him to have freewill.

for surely when He sees everything that I've done just for him.

He will realize that He is loved.



It was almost as if Jesus said "Lo I stand at the door....."



Yet Jesus waits for Jesus wants to know You are loved



God wants you to know that You were loved before the Earth was formed

Life is full of blessings.
There are blessings that are found in giving,
blessings found in receiving,
blessings found in words of encouragement.

Blessings found in listening,
blessings found in praying.
Blessings found in receiving but there are no blessings found in rejection of any kind.

There are 365 days a year, 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in 1 hour, and last but not least 60 seconds in a minute. Simply because God made it that way.

Only God knows the exact number of blessings.

Blessings can be easy to find or easy to miss.
There are blessings that words for some strange reason can not be explained other than by God, Jesus, Holy-Spirit, written word and yes the mystery of prayer.
I will give one example :
I have learned that there is no way I will be able to tell you what is going to happen next.
How are you doing?
You might expect the answer to be fine.
Instead she told me about her son who the Doctor was trying to take him off 1 medicine.

I asked (without thinking) can I pray for him she said yes.

A couple of weeks went by and I asked her how he was doing.
At first she said Fine, I said I need an update on how he is doing.
Cause my prayer partners like an update when they pray.
She said He had made better progress. Some time has passed by today she came by
her son David was on 9 different medicines and is only on 5 medicines.

David made better progress than the Doctor had expected. David had to come by and say thank you for praying.

Something that no matter how good/bad
it seems to pull me through each time.


It’s been talked about.
Sung about, read about,
studied about, some people may wear one,
others may not have one to wear.

You should have it figured out by now
If not oh well I will go ahead and tell you I am referring to {CROSS}.


It seems like the more lessons that I learn from the school of hard knocks the more I wonder will graduation ever come?
In every lesson I seem to find
Love,
Jesus

The more I shared in the sufferings of Jesus and endured persecution
Love,
Jesus

When people judged me right and left I found
I accept you for who you are where you are
Love,
Jesus

The first time I stumbled and fell down only to feel someone’s arms around me I could not see to help me stand up I found
Love,
Jesus

When I am around people who do stuff only to get a reaction from me I found “Lo I am with with you always”

Jesus

When I am around people who want to be Christ like and I stop and think how blessed I am I found
Love,
Jesus


How God loves mankind and just waits patiently
already knowing that one day someone
He created will come to Him.

God does not need to fellowship with man
He chose to fellowship with man there is a difference

If there were not a Roman soldier to nail him to the Cross
Jesus would have nailed Himself to the Cross.

When Jesus was on the CROSS HE saw every sin to be committed past, present, and future

Every good work to be done.
Now I could continue on but as soon as I stopped I am sure that I would learn another lesson that would be signed

No Limitations

Taking the Limits Off of God

God's power is limited by only one thing: Your way of thinking.

When we are worried, negative, or discouraged, it shows a lack of faith.

The children of Israel were guilty of it.

They saw first-hand His miracles but still questioned God when they were in the wilderness.

Stir up your faith today and get out of that rut!

It's time to stop thinking about what you can't do and start thinking about what God can do.

No matter what you need, never ask, "Can God?"

God can and God will.

When you truly believe this and keep an attitude of faith,

LOVE OF GOD


As I look to the left than to the right I see God’s love.

It is painted in laughter I hear a smile on a Grandma’s face.
Its funny how Grandparents work.
When they are just parents it is typical for the son or the daughter as the case may be to hear both yes and no.
When they become a Grandparent suddenly their love is different.
They get all the favorite things for the grandchildren.
Its common to hear just don’t tell your MOM and of course the child is going to say I am going to do just that.

Cause in the Child's mind I want you to bless me and you want feel good if you don’t bless me.

Kind of makes me wonder where they get an idea like that from and of course I know the answer but I hate to give the answer away.

Then I find myself stopping and thinking that God knew the book of Revelation before He chose for there to be a beginning.

To begin simply means to create, start, implement, however whenever there is a beginning there must be a finish line.

What is so interesting that God knew the order that the verses need to be in.

The written word is a gift from God to His sons and daughters.
After all God remembers everything that He has ever spoken and will ever speak to every one of His sons and daughters.

Regardless how mankind acts nice or mean, an act of friendship or a hate crime the choice is left up to mankind.
Not that mankind chose for it to be that way but God chose it that way.
Yet it makes me stop and wonder because God created mankind to worship Him as we should .
To have an intimate relationship with Him to always thirst for more.
Yet God took His love so far to the point regardless of how mankind treats Him.
He simply says I love you.
With God, He sees one or the other
This is my child who last prayed (you fill the date in)
Or this is my creation that I long to welcome to the family.
The angels are waiting to have a party and waiting.
There is nothing that will hurt God quicker than someone who accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior , yet isn't close to God
. More than anything God longs to hear every son and daughters prayer.

He even silences all of Heaven just to hear your voice.
In the meantime God waits and longs just to hear your voice

As much as He longs to hear your voice
He just simply says it would not be love from their Heavenly Father if I did not give them free will.
God made the choice to give everyone free will.
Just as a child wants to be spoiled by his/her grandparents

God wants to do even more but it all begins in prayer.
The best thing about the Bible is that God works according to His written word
Not mans word there is a difference.

Regardless of your choice God gently whispers I LOVE YOU can’t wait to hear from you.

Praise God

I was exercising last night to praise music.

One of the songs was titled Oh the Greatest Gift.

Well I must admit I found myself thinking of the words throughout the day.

Okay the first part of the song which is:

Oh the Greatest Gift I ever received was Hand Me Down Love

Love that Stood the test of time.

I must admit the artist nailed it right on the dot.

Granted I must admit I could not even begin to thank God for each and every blessing.

One thing is I'm thankful for Hand Me Down Love, a Love that Stood the
Test of Time.

Bottom line is every person who has ever drawn a breath of life God predestined to Heaven.

Of course God takes it a step further and lets mankind choose.

Grateful for Hand me Down Love, Gift of Salvation, mystery of prayer, ectra......

Good vs Evil or is it Evil vs Good You be the Judge or is it God is the Judge

As so many others I went to Church.
Some might say I grew up in Church there was just one catch I wasn't saved.
Every Sunday morning I had to wear a dress.
The dress code was a little sticker compared to now.

Have you ever met someone who just seem to fit the right in.
They seemed to say the right words wear the coolest shirts.
Its so easy to accept them after all they fit in.

What about the ones who necessarily don't fit the mold?
Maybe its someone who rides a motorcycle and at every stop He passes out tracts.

Are you more comfortable to receive a tract from a person who dresses the right way verses a person that has long hair, has a earring in, and rides a motorcycle??

What's the difference?? It could be the same tract??

Didn't Jesus shed His blood for both.

Isn't James right God has no favorites.

Could it be society??

What will people think??

Regardless of what it is its What God thinks that matters.

Hate to tell you the following but this lady has it.

Okay your right I don't hate to tell you.

I work with a very special Lady well she is in my book.

More importantly she is in Gods book.

That is what matters right.

Indeed I say Indeed that is what counts.

The word Indeed in Hebrew is like an exclamation point.!!!!!!!

My friend has tattoos all over her arms.

My favorite one is found on the lower part of Robyn's arm.

On one side she has a beautiful tattoo of Jesus.

On the other side is a tattoo of the Devil.

Hey Robyn what's the story with those tattoos'??

Robyn answered the question with just one word.

Mankind. You either look to Jesus or the Devil.

One word answered the question.

Mankind. Final answer.

Above all God knows her by name.

Satan's Meeting

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

Once they gain that connection with Jesus,

so they don't have time to develop a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

"This is what I want you to do”, said the devil.

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!

"How shall we do this?” his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds,” he answered:

a. tempt them to spend,spend,spend,and borrow,borrow,borrow.

b..Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles.

c..Keep them from spending time with their children. As their families fragments,soon,their homes will offer no escape from the pressure of work!

d..Over-stimulate their minds so they cannot hear that 'still,small voice.'

e..Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive...
to keep the TV,VCR, Cd's and their PCs going constantly in their home
and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly.

This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ.

f..Fill the office tables with magazines and newspapers.
Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day.
Invade their driving moments with billboards.
Flood their mailbox with junk mail,
mail order catalogs, sweepstakes,
and every kind of newsletter and promotional offerings free products,
service and false hopes.

g..Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines
and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important,
and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives.

h..Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night.

Give them headaches too
! If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere.
That will fragment their families quickly!

i..Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas.

j..Give them as Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death.

k..Even in their recreation, let them be excessive.
.have them return from their recreation exhausted
Keep them too busy to go in nature and reflect on God's creation.

Send them to amusement parks!, sporting events,plays,concerts, and movies instead.

l..Keep them busy,busy,busy!

And when they meet for spiritual fellowship,
they will leave with troubled conscience.
m..Crowd their lives with so many good causes
that they have no time to seek power from Jesus.
Soon they will be working in their own strength,
sacrifice their health and family for the good of the cause.

'It will work! It will work!!'

It was a quite a plan!

The demons
went eagerly to their assignments causing
Christians everywhere to have little time for their God
or their families, and to have little or no time to tell others
about the power of Jesus to change lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful at his scheme?
